    Speech Language Pathologist

    Qualifications

    • Current Texas State Board of Examiners SLP license

    Occupational Therapist

    Billing & Reimbursement Coordinator

    Remote position

    Responsibilities

    • Review patient records to ensure timely and compliant billing of claims
    • Perform billing and collections activity to ensure account integrity and appropriate reimbursement
    • Edit and process claims efficiently, identify errors and rejects, resolve billing problems to generate clean claims
    • Develop and utilize reports to perform billing reconciliation, as well as track trends and other potential implications
    • Review and recommend changes to charge capture documents to facilitate accurate and comprehensive billing
    • Conduct client benefit checks
    • Maintain accurate client insurance and financial records in the electronic medical record
    • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner

    Qualifications

    • Associate's degree (or higher), and/or technical certification in medical billing/coding
    • 2+ years of experience in patient, client, or third-party insurance billing (preferred)
    • Previous experience working in a collaborative environment
    • Previous call center experience in a medical billing environment
    • Ability to establish/maintain cooperative working relationships with staff and customers
    • Capable of identifying and completing tasks independently and with a sense of urgency
    • Excellent organizational skills including prioritization and planning of work activities
